About the Piano & Organ

The pianoforte was invented in 1720 by Bartolomeo Cristofori in Florence, Italy. The piano produces musical sounds through vibrations in the air that implies pitch, timber, quality, and volume or loudness. It has 88 keys. The beautiful sound touches the heart of the listener by creating moments, memories, and beautiful forms of harmonies. The pipe organ or the Hammond organ are two different sounds created with the same mechanism. One is produced with pipes (air) and the other is electronically. It has three staves, two upper (right hand-left hand) and one in the floor for the foot pedal. Pipe organs are used in cathedrals whereas electronic organ are for jazz ensembles as well as classical music.
